Las Vegas, Nevada, January 25, 2018 – Athena Advisors LLC today announced that Lisa L. Troe, Senior Managing Director, has completed the NACD Cyber-Risk Oversight Program and earned the CERT Certificate in Cybersecurity Oversight.
The NACD Cyber-Risk Oversight Program, the world’s first-ever cybersecurity oversight program for corporate directors, brings together the director education capabilities of National Association of Corporate Directors; Ridge Global’s experience as a leading risk advisor to C-suite executives and board leaders; and the deep, cyber-technical expertise of the Software Engineering Institute CERT Division at Carnegie Mellon University to deliver an online education course that addresses the specific cyber-risk oversight responsibilities of board members and executives.
Participants who successfully complete this exclusive online course earn the CERT Certificate in Cybersecurity Oversight, issued by Carnegie Mellon University. Graduates also earn 24 Continuing Education Credits, and NACD members earn 22 NACD Fellowship® skill credits.

She brings both extensive technical expertise and a broad yet unique perspective gained from over 35 years of business and professional experience with a wide range of industries in diverse organizational environments, including public and private companies, a Big Four public accounting firm, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, and international business advisory firm FTI Consulting.
Ms. Troe provides independent advisory services to clients and is a public company director and audit committee chair, and has significant experience collaborating with boards and executives, and their legal counsel.
